Updated in oktober 2009 met afbeeldingen van de drie gerestaureerde tegeltableaus (page 8, 12, 16).
In mei 2007 werden de 38 majolica-tableautegels uit de collectie van Museum Plantin-Moretus teruggevonden. Tot dan had Antwerpen het moeten stellen met een signalement en zwart-wit afbeeldingen die dateren uit 1945. Samen met tegels uit enkele andere collecties, zowel in binnenland als buitenland, zijn vandaag 58 tegels van dit type gekend. Dit is dan ook een ideale gelegenheid om deze meesterwerken van de Antwerpse majolicanijverheid via een inventarisstudie onder de aandacht te brengen.

De majolicavloer in de kapel van kasteel Rameyenhof te Gestel (nabij Lier, België) is slechts gekend door een Franstalige publicatie van de hand van Henri Nicaise (1939) en een korte vermelding in Elseviers Tegelboek (1965). De verkoop in 1994 van domein Rameyenhof door de vorige eigenaars en in het bijzonder de restauratie van het kasteel, de kapel en de majolicavloer door de huidige eigenaars in de periode 1998-2000, bood een unieke gelegenheid om de majolicategels uit de kapel aan een grondig onderzoek te onderwerpen.

The majolica floor in the chapel of Rameyenhof castle (in the vicinity of Lier, Belgium) was only known through a French-language publication by Henri Nicaise (1939) and a short entry in Elseviers Tegelboek (1965). The sales of domain Rameyenhof in 1994 by the previous owners and in particular the restoration of the Castle, the Chapel and its majolica floor by the current owners in the period 1998-2000, provided a unique opportunity to study the individual majolica tiles and the floor as a whole. The study report presents for the first time a thorough review of this unknown master piece of the early 16th c. Antwerp majolica industry. Dutch text, private publication. De Hasseltse vereniging vzw Verzamelaars Unie Hasselts Keramiek (VUHK) doet met deze tentoonstelling een poging om de Hasseltse keramiek toegankelijker te maken voor het grote publiek. Via een leuke invalshoek zal de tentoonstelling een overzicht bieden van de verschillende opdrachtgevers voor publicitaire keramiek tijdens de art-nouveau periode en tonen hoe Hasseltse keramiek een deel ging uitmaken van hun communicatieplan.

Exhibition - "Tell-Tale Tiles & Fractured Fantasies”, March 15 to April 15, 2010, Philadelphia, PA is an exhibition exploring contemporary tile making and ceramic mosaic as a story-telling medium in the spirit of artists Henry Chapman Mercer and Isaiah Zagar. The scope of the exhibition will be broadened to include social, political, personal and family stories.
This exhibition is inspired by the rich history of tile and mosaic in the Philadelphia area over the past 100 years, highlighting the historic works of Mercer along with the contemporary narratives of Zagar.
